How would you define your region's tourism potential ?

Tourism is already a strong branch of industry in Noord-Brabant and has a lot of potential to grow further.
Does the geographical and/or historical specificities of your region offer potential for certain forms of tourism?

Yes. Cultural heritage in cities and in the landscape can be made accessible to the public;
the large and dynamic agricultural industry offers opportunities for agro tourism.
What does your region do about that?

® restoration of cultural heritage
® stimulate start-ups of innovative projects
® co-operation and organised exchange of information between different branches of industry
What tourism infrastructures and facilities does your region offer?

® four national parks: “Biesbosch”, “Loonse en Drunense Duinen” “De Groote Peel” and “Kalmthoutse Heide”(partly in Belgium);
® good bicycle and walking infrastructure;
® several leisure parks, for example “De Efteling” (over 3 million visitors annually).
