The great number of islets with a wonderful landscape, the ramification of the main waterways, provide a natural framework giving both opportunity for relaxation and practicing hunting and sportive fishing.
Avifaunistic Reservation Iezer – Calarasi is located in the Danube Meadow, 75 % in Boianu –Sticleanu precinct and 25 % on the Danube ebankment .
Forestiere Reservation Ciornuleasa with a surface of 73,2 ha – protects a forest of plane type.
Lower Danube Museum
Historical monuments of Catalui, Plataresti, Manastirea , Negoiesti, “Schitul Codreni”,etc.
