  • How would you define your region's tourism potential ?
The region has a rich tourist potential, offered by the complexity of the views in the mountain area, where the variety of flora and fauna are in perfect harmony with the monuments of nature like special caves, the famous stone shapes, the valleys and the canyons from the main rivers, Ialomita and Dambovita, and the number of valuable historical and cultural sites dated centuries ago.
  • Does the geographical and/or historical specificities of your region offer potential for certain forms of tourism?
    Yes:

Vulcana Baths resort is famous for its waters sources with iodide, sodium chloride, calcium, magnesium and sulphur, comparable with waters from Vichy, Fracnce.
    4. school tourism: The region has 5 school camps( 3 in the mountain area and 2 in the field area) with national and international circuit. In these camps competitions on sport and education for primary and secondary school develop.
