Location: Iasi County, Region of Development North-East, Romania
Project aim: Rehabilitation of the historical monument ensemble Golia, in order to
introduce it into the cultural tourist itinerary and the capitalisation of the tourist potential of Iasi Municipality.
Project results:
 reinforced and rehabilitated historical monument ensemble;
 pedestrian alleys, parkings and green areas;
 modernised rolling track on Cuza Vodă Street;
 modernised sector in Cuza Vodă Street;
 setting-up and fitting out of the Association “Centre for Tourist Promotion Iasi”
till the finish of works
 3.341 newly created work-places, from which 211 untill the finish of the project and 3.130 during 2009 – 2013;
 Protection of the surrounding environment as far as the noise and the trepidations in the areas of tourist interest are concerned;

General objective of the project – development of the infrastructure needed for the promotion of the tourism sector, in order to strength the cross-border tourism activity
