What will change in the near future?

According to the Strategy for the Social-Economic Development of Iasi County during 2007-2013:
– rehabilitation of the tourism objectives belonging to the cultural, historical and religious heritage
– rehabilitation of the accommodation and treatment areas
– creation / modernization and diversification of the endowments for the leisure activities (inclusively the ecological development of the lakes)
– creation of clusters of tourist attractions
– development of a signalizing system of the tourist attractions in the county (panels, tourism maps for the national and county roads, railway, bus terminals, airports)
– development of the infrastructure for the winter sports
– development and diversification of the physical infrastructure for leisure time necessary to draw up an offer for spending free time (horseback-riding, parachuting )
– development of the business tourism – conference and business centers within the hotel structures
– construction and modernization of the facilities for balneal tourism
– setting up of tourism info-centers in the main localities of the counties and of tourism info-points in the main tourist locations and entrance gates.

Under the condition of following the concept of suitable development of tourism, from the perspective of the balanced correlation with the social-economic and environmental factors, we consider tourism liberalization as an opportunity.

Through the drawing up and implementation of the Strategy for the Social-Economic Development of Iasi County during 2007- 2013, that foresees the realization of investments and the development of new tourism services in order to capitalize the tourism potential.
