  • Is there a role for AER?
    Yes, the AER has the following role:
    - Support for promotion
    - Support for finding new project partners
    - Providing marketing studies and other relevant documents in the field
  • Has your region EU support for tourism?
    Yes.
    - Within PHARE Economical and Social Cohesion, SMEs were financially supported to establish or develop tourism activities.
    - The pre-accession Program SAPARD also provided support for agro-tourism activities
    - For tourism Infrastructure, Tulcea County Council is implementing a project called “Northern Dobrudja Touristic Assets” of around 8 million Euro, financed within PHARE ESC – Large Scale Infrastructure
  • What should be the role of the EU in tourism policy?
    a) Co-financing tourism infrastructure and direct investments in new accommodation capacities and other specific facilities;
    b) Set up the guidelines for sustainable tourism;
    c) Set up joint classification standards for tourism activities;
    d) Ensure the necessary framework for a secure tourism activity.
