    The evaluation process was concluded a few weeks ago but the contracts have not been signed by now.

    • Ensuring interests of the tourism sector
    • Improving knowledge of tourism and contributing to the dissemination of information
    • Defining and disseminating assessment methods and tools (quality indicators and benchmarking) necessary for monitoring the quality of tourist destinations and services.
    • Stimulating co-operation across Europe
    • Facilitating the exchange of information, consultation and co-operation on tourism
    • Ensuring good use of the EU financial and non-financial instruments to the benefit of the tourism industry, in co-operation with national and regional authorities
    • Creating of effective measures for use of EU funds in order to increase the quality of provided services and improve tourism infrastructure.
