Enhancement and development of mountain rural tourism product “Vrchárske putovanie“(Wayfaring in the Hills)

  • Short description:
    The main goal of the project is assembling, enhancing and increasing attractiveness of services offered within the existing mountain rural tourism product in the region North and South Podpoľanie and čierny Hron – named Wayfaring in the Hills. Specific goals of the project are:
    - in the field of marketing and promotion, increase in quality and a more professional level of promotion
    - increase in non-profit investments into infrastructure in order to increase attractiveness of the area
    - Building of a quality and interconnected network of Tourist Information Centers

    The project keeps continuity with the project “Commonly on the Wayfaring in the Hills” from 2001 that supports the sale of folk craft products, enlarges employment possibilities and promotes attractions in the region.
    Target groups of the project:
    Clients from the Slovak Republic (families with children, youngsters and students) as well as visitors from abroad especially from the Czech Republic, Poland and Hungary) with positive relation to nature and travel
